Dr. Rapp holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Counseling Psychology and Organizational Psychology from Walden University, and a Master of Arts degree in Pastoral Psychology and Counseling from Ashland Theological Seminary.
Dr. Rapp is licensed as a Professional Clinical Counselor with Supervision Endorsement.
Dr. Rapp provides services to the following groups; Individuals, Adults, Children, Adolescents, Couples, and Families.
Dr. Rapp's clinical interests and training are in; Diagnostic and intervention services for depression, anxiety, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, panic attacks, eating disorders, Asperger's Disorder, behavior disorders, gambling addiction, personality disorders, marital/family/stepfamily issues and concerns.
Dr. Rapp also offers organizational development consultative services to businesses.
Dr. Rapp has conducted workshops and symposia on such topics as anxiety, relationship building, communication skills, team building, codependency, adult children of alcoholics, remarriage and stepfamily development.
Dr. Rapp applies the following approaches to her counseling practice: Cognitive and personality/clinical assessments, and cognitive-behavioral, family systems, insight-oriented, psychodynamic, solution-focused therapeutic strategies.
Dr. Rapp is a member of: American Psychological Association, American Counseling Association, Ohio Counseling Association, and is a board member of the Ohio Council on Family Relations/National Council on Family Relations
